GAAP Point-of-Sale acquires POS Control

GAAP is extremely proud to announce the acquisition of POS Control. We are very excited to welcome the franchise groups and independents alike. There is no doubt that the POS Control client base fits our operations very well and we look forward to offering all clients a high level of on-site support nationally.

GAAP Point of Sales has been in existence for 35 years and we are 51% owned by Tarsus Technology Group who in turn are 100% owned by Investec Bank.
The balance of GAAP shares are held by an actively involved management team that ensures we focus on delivery to our valued clients.
We have a large software development team, training facilities nationally and a 24/7/365 call-centre that will be available to all POS Control clients shortly. GAAP has a user base of over 5 500 sites and services over 80 national franchise groups in South Africa. We have a rapidly growing international footprint with representation throughout Africa, Mauritius, United Kingdom & Dubai. We have over 320 staff members and branches in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, East London, Garden Route, Richards Bay, Ladysmith, Nelspruit, Polokwane & Botswana.
We are determined to offer an even better level of service and network of support to all clients.

You will all know the POS Control team in Gauteng and they will continue to address all your queries and requests as we roll their operations out to the rest of GAAP nationally.
We will soon move all POS Control operations and staff into our Midrand office and service will not be affected and it will be business as usual.

GAAP started out as a family run business and still pride ourselves in keeping things personal. We look forward to building lasting relationships with all of you and impressing all users with a very high level of support and service.

We welcome any queries or feedback you may have.
